Ownership & Funding
White House Deck Log is an independent publication operating at whdecklog.com. It is not owned by a political party, a campaign, a federal agency, or an advocacy coalition.
This page does not name a private owner, editor, or operator. That is deliberate. The work is meant to be judged on the record it keeps, not on a personality attached to the masthead. Correspondence uses the reserved contact intake and the right of reply process — not a personal mailbox published on the open web.
Funding
None yet. There are no advertisers, sponsors, grants, patrons, or paid newsletters to list because none have been accepted. If that changes, the change will be written here before the money is used to fund coverage, and the date of the amendment will be visible in git.
Until then, do not infer a hidden backer from the existence of a domain and a stylesheet. Absence of a donor list is not a tease. It is an empty ledger.
Editorial / revenue firewall
Whenever revenue exists, it will sit behind a firewall:
- Funders, advertisers, and affiliates do not select, spike, or edit log entries.
- Fact-check PASS/REVISE/HOLD/REJECT is independent of sales.
- Advertising, if enabled later, will be labeled and confined to reserved slots. It is not live on this build. See Advertising & Affiliate Policy.
- A future paid newsletter, if any, will not be a channel for buying coverage.
If a conflict arises that a reasonable reader would want to know, it belongs on Ethics & Conflicts and on this page. Silence is for facts not yet established — not for money.
